Practice Nurse Clinic

Our Practice Nurse provides the following services:

  • Dressings and removal of sutures.
  • Travel Advice and Immunisations. Please visit our Travel Page for more information.
  • Adult Immunisations: Flu, Pneumococcal and Shingles (for eligible patients)
  • Reviews of patients who have diagnoses of Heart Disease, Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, Hypertension and Mental Health problems – If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an annual review of any of these symptoms please complete the relevant form. If your symptoms are deteriorating or you are having any concerns please make an appointment with our nurse.
  • Contraception – If you have been advised by the surgery to submit a contraceptive pill review please use this form.

Health Care Assistant Clinics

Our HCA provides the following services:

  • NHS Health Checks
  • Learning Disability Health Checks
  • New Patient Registration – If you would like to register with the practice please use this form.
  • Dressings
  • Blood Pressure Check (including 24hr B/P Machine) – If you have been advised by the surgery to submit your blood pressure readings on a regular basis please use this form.
  • Flu Vaccination
  • Nasal Flu
  • B12 Injection
  • Weight Management
  • Smoking Cessation – If you have been advised by the surgery to submit a smoking review on a regular basis please use this form.

Baby Clinic

You will receive a congratulatory letter from the practice after the birth of your child. Included in the letter will be your child’s check up schedule, please contact the practice to book these appointments.

  • Baby check up from 6 weeks – this appointment will be with a GP and last approximately 20 minutes.
  • Child Immunisations from 8 weeks – this appointment will be with a nurse and last approximately 20 minutes.

Child Health Visitors

The child health visitors provide advice and support to families with small children. Their role is also to provide routine developmental screening.
